These two superb carvings are excellent examples of the contempoary jade carving which is presently evolving in New Zealand.

The above well illustrates the inventivness with which the ancient ‘Teko teko’ form is developed into a beautifully balanced, personal adornment representing generations of  ‘MANA’. 

Ponamu, Greenstone, Jade. All the same term for the gift of the earth to man. A mystical stone for the discerning to embrace with care and knowledge as the undisputed symbol of wisdom and leadership.
